Dangerous Heat Wave coming! But more dangerous are the sharks. And flesh eating water in the Gulf and the smaller Bays. Stay inside and turn up the A/C and watch the Black outs in are Big city’s. Sit in the Dark. But really everything will be OK.

Old people with health issues and others who get themselves heat stroked or dehydrated. People in Arizona, New Mexico, and Nevada deal with temperatures like that more often. I remember my trip to Las Vegas, I went Quadding in the desert. It was 130*. Drank 32 oz. of water every 1/2 hour and I felt fine.

People make fun of southerners like me because we don’t know how to handle a snowstorm, but at least we know how not to die when it’s hot. Step One, if you don’t have A/C, open your windows!

105 heat index is a normal Arkansas summer day. When it gets to 115, that's when we start complaining.

I prefer winter because you can always put on more clothes when its cold but the law limits how much you can take off when its hot.

Larry, being in Arizona with over 100 degree temps I didn’t find it as bad as east coast humid summers. I went hiking in the heat of the day in the desert too. Piece of cake but I guzzle a lot of water always when it’s hot.

I’ll take the heat of the summer any day over hibernation during a crappy winter.
