WANTED: Pedal assembly for 62 Skylark. (converting from automatic to manual)

    WANTED: Pedal assembly for 62 Skylark. Converting from automatic to manual transmission. Not sure what all is required. Free advice is always welcome.

    Good luck, there almost as hard to find as hens teeth. When you do find one be prepared to spend a few $$$. If you plan on using original linkage and all, make sure you get the frame bracket (holds the equalizer bar in place) and the bolts (they are special made, through the frame bolts). There is a member in a different group that has the pedal pads reproduced and sells them. You may want to try desert valley auto parts in Phoenix Az.

    Still looking for pedal assy? Im pretty sure I have a manual 3 on the tree 62 here. I can take a look later today and let you know for sure.

    Check Olds small car 61 62 63 plus 61 & 63 Buick Special and Skylark.
    Pontiac had the trans axle cars in that period but pedals may be the same.

    Thanks Bill. I belong to two other forums. One specific for those years, it however is not very active. when I get home I will post a links maybe others know of other forums out there for these orphan cars
