Wayne, thanks for posting that one for me. I'm not too sure I could bring myself to purchase a Red car, there are just too many red cars out there and you really have to have a metallic color to show the great lines buicks have IMHO. Angela (and Chris P) thanks for sending me the info on this one in Cali, I've called them a couple times today, but unfortunately have not gotten an answer. I'm going to follow up as thoroughly as possible, hopefully this one will come through. I'll keep you guys posted, thanks again for the leads!!! There has to be a car out there with my name on it...
Came close to buying the car in Cali, but for the price it needed quite a bit of metal work. Something tells me the car spent some time around salt and a lot of water. So the search continues...
Still hunting, but I'm going to refine my search. I've decided that I'll buy either a full-on project that is cheap but complete (meaning needs a full restoration, but is complete as far as the HTF 4 speed parts goes and is original) or I'll buy a nicely restored car that is as close to perfect as possible, well documented, and is correct as far as color, options, etc. Buying a 25k car and having to repaint it because it has GSX stripes or they painted a blue car red puts it out of my league. So far I've found some interesting stuff, just haven't found "the one." I've got two "parts cars" in the works that could be put together, but I haven't decided if I'm up to the restoration challenge or not.... Thanks guys, still searching...
Not as original as you'd like it, but man is it beautiful http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4610190931&sspagename=ADME:B:SS:US:1
I'm working on it, but doubt I can get the full $25k together fast enough to make it happen. I'm not a big fan of black anyway, but it would be treated to a full set of steelies/poverties if I end up th it. We will see. I'd rather have a Seamist/gulfstream/diplomat/aqua mist car anyway. Who knows? o No:
