Do you know about this one? It's been for sale for some time and may be open to a decent offer. http://www.cars-on-line.com/22619.html
I called the number in the add about a month ago and the person said they sold it a few months before that. I don't think the ads in cars-on-line are updated very often.
Matt, In the latest Hemmings there's a blue 72 GS 350 4 spd. coupe with Sloan doc's. I don't have it here in front of me, but I think it's a dealer located in IL.
Its Ohio and I got pictures of the car. The interior is supposed to be white, but was redone in black. It is supposed to have the N25 bumper and doesn't. While it is the original engine, the original manifold and a few other items have been switched out with no originals anywhere to be found. It also has the rear wing and front air dam and is not supposed to. All in all it is a nice car and I have it on my list, I am just hoping a little more original car is out there. Still looking and sent a PM to Tubbed to see what his brother has.
Matt, I may have a manifold and smog parts, but would have to check through our pile of parts. I think all of the '73 350 manifolds are the same part #. On an N-25, we have one that may be for sale. It's not in great shape, but should make a decent core.
That yellow car sold on Ebay for 5k about 2 1/2 years ago . Nice appreciation and from the looks of the body the new owner did nothing to it.
I may be convinced to let this one go for the right price:dollar: , but its not a convertable and theres no engine or tranny, but it is a 72 gs 350 4 speed car with huge potential....Now Just make me an offer I can't refuse:laugh:
I think I caught a glimpse of the potential. I think it was either between the pictures of the rear qtrs or was it the no engine or transmission part. I can't remember. Thanks for the offer, but I will reluctantly have to pass. I do hope you restore it though.
Well it looks like Matt's going to passo No: The car was originally silver with white bucket interior, drums all around, no power windows or door locks, no air, and has 14" Ralleys, dash tach, and rally pac gauges, and short floor console. Forgot to mention I could not find the build sheet anywhere either, but when we opened the trunk I found the original 4 speed shifter and all the linkage intack:Brow: . Hope to restore it some day, Gord
Matt Here's one I haven't seen advertised before. 70 Stage 1 4 speed. A little too far away for me. http://www.cars-on-line.com/35278.html Harvey
Got pictures of it on Valentines Day. If it was together and in that shape thats one thing. In pieces you might be missing a bunch of stuff and won't know until it is going back together. Also with the engine apart you won't know if it is useable until you get it to a builder. If it isn't usable you will have NOM car. If it was usable, why did they take it apart? Tough call.
Matt the best car I can come up with would be my 70 GS 455 with my 4 spd change over. Now that would be a sweet ride. Black on black a spd with ZERO rust to fix and tons of NOS and new repo parts. I estimate 95% of the parts are here and all the hard to find stuff.
