I am looking for 70-72 GS Stage 1 car. It does not have to be number matching but, would be a bonus if it was for sure. I would like to have a 4 speed but, auto ok. I do not want bench seats and would prefer any color except brown and green.

    I’m in lust...

Curious if rebuilt drivetrain means non-original drivetrain since the words “numbers matching” do not appear anywhere in the description.

The Mecum car is not numbers matching. It is currently owned by a v8buick member, and has been previously owned by at least two members. It was for sale here on v8buick and last sold in 2016 IIRC.

Beauty - Bona fide stripper. Doesn't even have the requisite remote mirror. Funny how these cars were ordered originally and what people found important when checking off the boxes. Personally I'd have kept the white painted top or if anything gone with black painted instead of vinyl and kept the consolette in lieu of the 8-track, but at least they didn't add PS or PB and although I probably wouldn't do it to mine, I can understand the addition of tilt steering just for easier ingress/egress & have considered it. Will be interesting to see what it goes for.

I have looked at this car also and it looks great but, I live west texas and black seats and no a/c would not work out real well for me.

Well.........not really. You know this Aqua Mist GS is painted in true Lacquer paint. Lacquer really shows the true color compared to base coat clear coat.

yes, I did see it at the BN it is very nice but, no a/c and a little more of a race car than a driver car.

OZGS455 Oh what a wonderful day!

Tilt wheel I like on mine not for getting in and out, thats not a problem at all.
I like it to get the wheel just where I like it.
