I had a similar post in Dec. for a truck. Wife prefers car. Ok not a Buick but I like them. Looking for a project for my retirement years. A 49-54 Chevy 2 door (not a truck) can be missing motor, trans, rearend, glass. BUT MAINLY MISSING RUST!! I will drive a good distance for the right car and pay a small finders fee. I do not have a hell off a lot of money to spend. I plan to stuff it in my buddies barn for a year or two, thus the wife will be ignorant of my new toy.
What about a 53-54 Pontiac? Is in local yard, southwestern body. Might? be able to get this fairly cheap from yard owner.
Location is same as my avatar location. 10 miles north of I-10 / I-25 interchange. It might not be "all there" but u will be miles ahead with a fairly clean body.
Sent you a PM. Additional pics of car. 95 percent rust free, will need rear outer wheel house lip work, where it meets quarter. No interior, engine, trans, bumpers or hood. Rear end is under car, the front suspension is partially missing - may be? interchange with other '49 - '54 GM?? Dave.
