I'm new to the forum & have a '73 buick that has rust holes through the hood along the entire front. I took it to a body shop & they said that while they could most likely "fix" it, it would most likely start rusting through again and to look for a new hood. I'm not really concerned about the color. Filler-free would be preferable, but as long as it doesn't have creased dents or rot, I'll be happy.
ive got one in north carolina for sale. 1973 is a 1973 only there is minor surface rust but no holes. the chrome strip on the hood causes them to rot.
Advertised hood from this '73 Electra one a while back. Due to it's size and single model specificity it did not sell. Yard (crushed car. Still should have some brightwork w/o pits from that '73 Electra. Believe these hoods are both year and model specific. There is a '73 Le Sabre in local yard, but it has the same problems as yours.
