Driving down I-94 going to the Harper Cruise in Detroit tonight, cruising in the right lane taking it easy when a guy in a white stratus pulls up on my left and starts tilting his head into his palm like he is going to sleep. I don't get it? He keeps doing this and pointing to his passenger seat, so I look a little closer and see his buddy sound asleep in the reclined passenger seat. OH!!!! Now I get it. :sleep: :sleep: So I back off to his rear bumper and give all shes got. :3gears: The poor bastard hit the ceiling. The three of us were all smiles for the next mile. You bet! He must have because he was laughing too after he restarted his heart! My exhaust is 4" into 3.5 over axle pipes with race can mufflers. I almost think it is louder than open headers when you stab it. Sort of a trumpet effect. Of course 767 hp has a special ring of its own. What a fun night! :3gears:
Bill what kind of mufflers are you running and do you have a sound clip of the car, my motor just made 740 hp and 725 tq im wondering what it sounds like with pipes. thanks,
Mufflers Shawn, They are 4" Race Magnums ( I think by Dynomax), pretty much a straight through 6" Can. I don't have audio, but my digital camera can record in video/audio mode. If someone can hold it still for me and are willing to go for a ride, it might be a fun project. I would love to have it for my scrapbook. Traction will be the problem, it seems I am on the light faster than I can shift. I feather it as best I can and try to get you some audio. Bill :beer
Awesome what kinda tq did that monster make??? i have been figuring no matter what kinda street tires i use traction will be an issue :3gears: LOL as i'm sure you experience everytime you drive it. so at what MPH can you mat it without wheelspin.
It made 680 torque, no wheelspin? Maybe 65mph. Tolerable wheelspin, 40mph, 1st to second shift you just shift the instant you stab it at a twenty roll. I think they will work great at the track, we will see. Bill :3gears:
