Alway's like that 67. With its rattle can textured top. I remember when they saved it from the junkyard. If I remember correctly Rusty also had a 70 he was working on at one time don't know if he ever finished it. I remember my first trip to GS nats and Rusty taking us out in the 72 that was one good running GS also. :3gears:
Sent him a PM and an email from the Board. If you have contact you may ask him if his ears are ringing.... :Brow:
Seeing those old pictures does get the blood going again. Those really were good times. I've been working on Rusty and Jay as well. I'm also working on getting my Dad to get a Buick. He's been looking for something too. :TU: Rusty has a 72 convertable. It was in pretty decent shape but he hadn't done much with it even back then. I also need to get busy with mine. Hopefully I can bring it to this year's Bash. I've got it running I just need to fine tune a few things. :3gears:
I plan on attending. Maybe Jeff will bring "LEAVER" and really shock the 'X'ers. I'm not sure if my 69' will be done. I sure hope so. Getting closer.
David, Glad to see you're onboard for the event. Hope you get that '69 ready to race! I really want to see it run! Steve
Is there a firm date for this? I would definitely like to attend but have a seminar here in Mart April 8-10, 2005. The pressure is on from Cliff and David!
Still Working on a date At this point it will be around the First two weeks of March or April. more to come. :beer
I made it for the first time this year but did not bring my car (dont remember why?). Enjoyed seeing all the Bufords. Will certainly try this year as well. Might bring the Cutlass if I get the fuel system straightened out by then. Ben
Phil, if I may as Phil has mentioned it will be somewhere in March or April. Since the LSPBC has helped with this event, we are waiting on our Officer Elections for '05 which will be held Dec. 12th. After this I will coordinate with Phil and the track and try to set a date. So stay tuned! Thanks for your patience. Also if anyone has any input has to how to make it a better event, were all ears. :Comp: Thanks, David Newton Vice Pres. Lone Star Performance Buick Club
