I just picked up a 68 sport wagon and am going to start working on it. I am wanting to go with some larger wheels and wanted to see if anyone else out there had any wagons with some 17, 18, or 20's on them. I know there is a white 68 with some bigger wheels around here somewhere. If you would also list sizes that would help as well. I am interested in any wagon pics you would have including 70 - 72's as well with any wheels but also ones with bigger wheels. I haven't taken any pics of mine yet but I will post them up in a few days. Thanks,
    Josh

I really cannot help with the tire and rims as I am just going to go with the 14 inch rallys with 205 75r 14s all around, raised white letters of course. The ones I have on there now are just scab tires.I too just purchased my Sport Wagon and it was a good price I believe for 500.00 and it is rust free in the body and underside.Runs very well after sitting since 1974.I had to put in a differant trans I had laying around but other than that it is great mechanical wise.

It has some dents and dings but atleast I do not have to deal with rust.Mine is just going to be a daily driver and I will use it or camping and fishing and such.I should not have more than 1000.00 total in it when I am done and it will look decent........

Oh i forgot i do have an opinion on aftermarket wheels of stock size or otherwise,I do not like them and think the Buick Rallys are already unbeatable in my opinion but to each his own........Bruce

    Whazup homeboy?

Is there some way you or Shawn can scan a pic and use one of your photo programs to "try" some wheels?

Let's get that wagon smoking those old tires!

Thanks for all the reply's guys. Keep on posting. Also what do you guys use as far as springs to lower these wagons?

Hey Excon (Buick) I don't have any programs to do that with but photoshop and I am not good with that. As far as burning off those tires (or tire) I am game for that. Shawn and I just picked up a 350 4 barrel complete 68 motor in good condition this week we may just drop in instead of the one that is in it.

Dave your wifes wagon is incredible.

Bruce your wagon sounds like a steal like mine was. I like the 65 body style alot and good luck with it.

I took a bad pic of the car today of the outside and interior. I will get some better ones in a few days.

    Thanks nasty,
Mine's on airbags to get the lowered look.
If you post up a nice pic of the car side on, and the wheels you have in mind, I'll see what I can do...

Nice wagon! I'm the new owner of a '68 Sport Wagon myself, I've had mine about a month. It's brown and it's got Chevy Rallyes on it at the moment, though I may put the original wheels back on soon. I'd post a picture, but I have to post a few more times first - so hopefully I'll return to this threat before too long with pics!
