I want to have a 1/2" fuel line. I am considering putting an aftermarket tank inside the storage compartment behind the axle. Or should I just figure out a way to plumb the line from the bottom of the stock tank? Any good fuel tank ideas to share?

I was thinking of the same Idea - a ~10 gal tank in the storage area but I was thinking of plumbing it so BOTH tanks could supply fuel through a remote activated valve (kinda like an airplane setup with dual tanks).

That way, you could run 116 in the spare tank, and pump gas in the main .... or pump gas in both with the extra 10 gal's for those long trips

The dual tank switch/valve from the 73-87 chebby trucks should work nicely for that kind of setup.

    sump the stock tank

    Hey Guys,

I just put a bung on the bottom rear of my stock tank,

simple and worked. I do like the idea of two tanks though..

That sounds like the least amount of work to get there. What diameter did you go? Possible photo?
    Thanx.
