After the 'lark goes under the knife, I'll need a new vinyl top. I've bought from OPGI before and been happy with the service & products (bar one ball joint) So, Legendary or OPGI? Both claim to be the best, both claim correct Levant material. All advice gratefully received. Cheers, Chris

I've never bought anything from OPGI, but based on their catalog for Regal/ GN/ T-type, I would avoid them...So much Chevy Small block stuff and OVER half the catalog was aftermarket upgrades (suspension, brakes, gauges, etc) that FORCE you to deviate from stock appearing. Even basic stuff like carpets is not right: I don't recall ANY 78-87 Regal having a floor mounted dimmer switch, and they include the grommet... Pictures for obviously different merchandise are NOT correct (Same picture used for totally different items). Personally, I'd stick to a KNOWN reputable vendor...And I loved my Legendary interior...
I bought 1000 worth of stuff from OPGI when i did my 65 everything was either wrong or junk other then the armrest bases sent everything back I used Legendary on my seats and that stuff was spot on very very great quality
That's good to know about Legendary. I haven't bought any interior stuff yet. I've bought mainly mechanical suspension and brake/fuel lines and various stuff from Year One, OPGI, The Parts Place, and even NPD (national parts depot) from their Chevelle catalog. I go for whomever is running the 20-30% off discount and is cheaper. A lot of times, NPD is cheaper and I can go pick it up and save on shipping.
Just be sure to only install the original type of fabric. That is the canvas backed material. If it is gauze backing DO NOT USE IT. It wicks water up like a sponge and traps it causing rust. I believe the Legendary tops are made with the correct material. Contact whoever you plan to purchase from and ask this question.
