What were they smoking back then? Non GMO non hydroponic stuff right outa the dirt. Then paraquat happened and morphed into vinyl tops.

I think Kyle caught that cancer right before it metastasized. Dont put a bandaid over a melanoma. Treat it with radiation. The UV type from the sun. Ditch the vinyl and paint it. That way you can watch it instead if getting a biopsy done in 2 years. To repair that correctly, well, you dont want to go there. As Briz said, that stuff runs WAYYYY deeper than a few pin holes. Way deeper. ws

I agree with the two tone. Nice thing is the moldings used are the same. He had that funky 72 halo style. Those moldings would need to be eliminated.

Meh, I have had white tops, on convertibles and hard tops on most of my cars, back in the day when they were drivers they were more maintenance, now they sit in the garage most of the time, nothing some Wesley's can't handle. With white interior the white top was the obvious choice, with green interior, probably green is the best option.

I had a 70 Olds 442 W30 original paint Rally Red(Orange) with black interior and black stripes. Factory equipped white top. It looked damn good but man did I scrub that white top. Pretty interesting car. When top was down there was no hint of white. Car took on a different persona of class with top up or down.
