Looking for help on identification about a Pontiac GTO im going to look at. (I know nothing about identifying a Pontiac). A quick google search tells me 1972 year was not identifiable except through build sheet. Is this true? Any help appreciated in determining if this car is GTO. I have not seen it yet, so dont ask for pix.
Azeem GTO reverted to being an option again on Lemans in 1972. Thus VIN will indicate Lemans. In order to verify you must get GM of Canada docs if Canadian delivered or PHS. Does car have rear sway bar and boxed lower rear control arms?
Still havent seen the car yet. Will post back when i do. Thanks for posting, it seems to jive with what im discovering in my searches, where you can rule out that its a GTO but cant confirm its a GTO without proper documentation.
