Very Nice 65-68 Wildcat Console Emblem and housing

For sale is the Wildcat console insert. This is a very nice piece. No pits on the housing. Price is $150 plus shipping. Part is located in NY.

 

Educate a newbie.... Where did this fit in 1968 console, Fred?

In place of tach if owner did not want a tach??

My coupe has buckets and console and tach and I am struggling to figure out how this would fit otherwise. Thank you.
