Hey guys and gals. I have a friend who is in need of the driver side vent window assembly for a 66 or 67 skylark post 2 door. Would a 65 four door be a match? Thanks.

    Devin,
Saw your question on my profile (didn't know you could do that....). Had lunch with JR today and he said you were going to contact me regarding your question. I can't find a definite answer in any of my manuals, etc. It's possible the 66-67 4dr post car would fit; less likely a 65 would work. Might be worth trying it if he can get one fairly cheap(?). If it would, that would be welcome info for us post coupe owners.

Maybe Walt Kilgus or Jim Shields would know, or someone with a catalog of parts numbers.
    Good luck,
    Steve

Thanks Steve, for your input. These parts are getting harder and harder to find. I'll let you know what my friend tries.

Other divisions may cross over. Olds, Pontiac. Hollander (40th Ed. 1974) shows #2783 for the glass - front vent window '66-'67. 2 dr. Sdn. Olds and Pontiac use the same # Chev does not. By inference, the vent assembly, should? be the same. Four doors, hardtops, Wagons are different, and '64-'65 is different.
