    Moderators : feel free to move to whatever is the appropriate thread.
    My neighbor has offered me the first shot at a 1965 D100 Dodge Pickup. Slant six, 3 on tree. Frame is good, rust on rockers. Last on the street in 2005. I was able to get it to run - but only momentarily. The box and floor are good, the tailgate was removed when the truck was new - so it is nearly perfect. The frame looks solid. I do have a lift and if I can get it running would be able to verify the bottom side.
    The color is turqoise. I have looked on Hagerty’s - basically fair is $3,500, Good is $8,200, excellent is $16,500. Concours is $23,000. I was considering somewhere in the $3,000.00 range. A few years ago - it was given to me, I failed to follow up and get the title...... now he has dementia (really does have dementia) and his wife is sure he never would have given to me. I would appreciate any and all input on what your thoughts are on value. My plan would be to only get it up and running and use as a driver - the old guy was and is pretty special to me. Thanking you in advance - Byron

    I love those Dodge trucks,especially with the leaning tower of power slanted 6!
    I think $3,000 is a fair price , for what you have described.
    When I was in high school, I had a Biscayne that was broken down every other week. Dad would graciously let me borrow from his horde of vehicles. Of the vehicles he would let me borrow were;
    •pick up with slant six 3 on the tree. AM/FM radio that worked.
    •Valiant four dour four in the floor slant six. AM radio that worked.
    •Dart two door sedan (post) automatic slant six. AM radio that did NOT work.
    They're great machines. That slanted six is the most dependable engine around. The pick up truck was my favorite of the three.

    Bulldog - the garage is locked - I will get pics when the estate manage is back here. He also has a 96 dodge sport pickup that has 41,000 miles on it.
