Trying to find out if the numbers all match. May be a true survivor, dunno. Certainly unrestored.

Had a nice dream last night about driving it around. I have always wanted a fireglow car.

Might make an offer but want to be fair. So what is fair?

I’d say bottom (absolute floor, presuming it’s real and not a bag of rust) is 20. In the ‘unknown’ condition of your pics, probably start talking about low 20s and see where it goes. That’s the ‘I’ll get it out of your hair, don’t bother trying to start it’ volley. As it proves itself it goes up.

So what is the yellow 350 Sun Coupe worth? Trying to get more info on it for a possible package deal...

Okay, so which is worth more-- the fairly sweet but oddly colored hardtop in the link below or the fireglow ragtop?

I think the hardtop is in much better shape; it got bid up to $20,000.

(Not interested in the hardtop -- still slinking around the fireglow ragtop.)

Dude has finaaly decided to sell. Car runs well and is downright scary, or so he says. He's asking $30,000.

Good luck. Fireglow is a sharp and unique color.

I think 25K would buy it as it sits. But the seller will decide that.

The Fireglow convertible.. If it's numbers, no rot/ panel repairs, etc, I would think it's a good deal at $25K.. fair price of $30..

I just need to find someone to give the car a good look-see.

Do not need another car, and no A/C in South Florida is rough, but it is a Stage 1 ,(not yet verified) and it is fire frickin glow.

Man I love that color. Any other color = no interest.

    Bamboo Cream....

    Said no one ever.

Not getting down on those that like bamboo cream, just debating whether or not to keep my GS455 project the original color or not.

Question: does it look like the stage emblems on the hood are in the right place? I know they are supposed to be in a different location than on a non-stage car.

I would definitely pull back the insulation on inspection, and check the holes for correctness.

I have an original paint 69 stage 1 hood you could reference.

Okay -- I had a board member swing by and take a look at the car.

The block is a 400 with the right casting number but has been decked, so there are no visible stampings.
The distributor is a correct date coded stage 1 unit.
The transmission is the correct BB numbers matching unit.
    The carb is from 1975.
    Runs and drives.
    Tranny leaks.
    Engine leaks oil.
Fair amount of NOS trim in the trunk, though all trim is on car and in good shape. Wheel well trim in GM wrappers, but could be for another car.
Surface rust on frame -- no scale, no rot, just 50 years old.
Said there was some bondo in the body, though I aint sure what that means.

    Thoughts?

    I am thinking $22,500.

The RS is decked off... that’s an issue. Carb is an issue, bondo is a HUGE issue. I think 22 is on the higher side. Start low....

Agree with George, RS is a big deal espically if ever re-selling unless there is documentation showing otherwise.

If the BB trans matches the VIN that verifies it as a Stage 1. I’m with you at 22 1/2; but you really need a better handle on ‘some bondo’. That’s a $10k question right there. Lower front fenders? Common, no biggy. Quarters roached? That’s a biggy.

Yeah, trying to get a better answer on that. It does scare me.
