I’ve got a steering wheel from my 64 Sylark that I’m looking to sell but I have no idea what it’s worth. I’d say the condition is good to very good with only two very small cracks on the backside where the cross spokes meet the rim. Pot metal insert/horn button is in good shape with only the normal imperfections you would expect in 50+ year old pot metal part. Any input on what it’s worth? I’m selling because I like the look and feel of the smaller, sportier 3 spoke wheel I just installed. Thanks in advance.
There was a thread on 65GS a while back about restoring these wheels. If I remember right, they were around $400 to restore your core. A nice original wheel is hard to find. What color is yours?
I am interested. Or maybe I should say in line pending pics and asking price. And thanks for the deal on the radiator a few years back. It has worked out great with my 350/350 swap.
