Still building an 85 Regal with a JW 470 making 575 HP @ 5600 rpm,580 ft.lbs. torque @ 4500 rpm. Ford 9" rear differential and a Janis 200-4R trans. Should be on the the road this spring after I get a drive shaft strong enough for it built and a drive shaft safety ring put in. Oh ya and I gotta cut a hole in the hood to get it closed lol. Hood scoop can come later.

Dang it..was going to start enjoying it.

Life got in the way here too, but...... things are changing. My wife and I just became empty nesters, so..... I may get to the Regal.

Still representing with the 85 T.
It's fun when you lift the hood at a track and they say Damn it's got a BBB in it!
    Enjoy your ride.

Looks like that could be fun too!! :Brow: I want to charge mine as well eventually but those types of adders can always be put on down the road -- I wanted to get mine mobile after sitting for 3yrs. Good luck with your project and let me know if you happen to want anything powdercoated!!

Seen your new roller posted for sale on couple websites.... love that Atomic Orange and Black combo, you got one heck of a good starting point.

Seen that you where from the Chicago area, and noticed your blue Regal kinda looks familar. Is it the one that recently came together with one Lawrence Clark and Jr BBB engines?

I still have my '87 Limited that I stuffed a stocker '76 455 TH400 combo in years ago...sorta in mothballs (motor got weak).

I picked up an '83 Regal that I had sold the owner the 3.8 out of my '87 to years back, I swapped in a mid year 350 Buick and TH350. Small Poston cam and intake. 3.42 gears from and S10 and a Jeg's dual exhaust cross-member. It got back burner-ed for a Malibu bracket car...just started messing with it again.

    I know, too many projects....

Which leads to "Hey, wanna buy a '79 Regal?" bear with me, it was/is silver with black trim in old Turbo Couple style...I had already picked up a matching Turbo hood at a swap meet about a year or so ago....so "Yeah, I'll take it" I made the 3.8 go, it drives....now what???

I have checked back a few times, site seems sorta' slow for later model stuff (non-muscle car era). I hit MalibuRacing.com and GbodyForum.com on a semi regular basis.

LOL Yeah you could say that we are all family. The blue car is jrs car and mine is the silver street car. You have seen the car many times before I think i have talked to you at BG and in Ohio. I remember the liscence plate. Silver car was darker and hasnt been out in 3yrs. The color most seen.

Gathering parts for the '79, found a donor 455 TH400....
The '83 has sorta stagnated as I mess with the BBC Malibu drag/bracket car...

As I make some progress I will post up some pics.

I wish there was some more activity in this area.
