    how about this

I pretty much get all my download from http//WWW.WINMX.COM.It's clean and easy.I'll share any of my MP3 thru there if I know if you want them. You'll have to e-mail me so I can hook into the system.
In the evening is the best time for me.
My puter will be down on Wed for a memory/xtra harddrive& motherboard update and if I don't screw things up I'll talk to you all on WED evening.
I have another 100 CD's that are going to been converted into MP3on the new 40gig harddrive that will be availiable thru WINMX in the future.
    Mostly old stuff.
All that is needed is for us to be able to know each others screen names.

How about the first Montrose album with Sammy Hagar in vocals. Every song on it rocks! "Rock the Nation" has always been one of my favorite songs. I used to blast that record until my ears hurt! I guess that is why my hearing is a little bad today! Brian Cheers! :beer

Reading these postings sends me back 25 years reminding me of some of the stuff my crowd listened to. The ones that were not stuck on pop 40. Riding around in my 70 GS 455, friend Brian's 70 GS 455, my future brother in law's GTO ( 66 Tripower 4 speed), Kenny's 64 SS 327/4 speed etc.

No such phrase as muscle car then. We did not know what we had in those days. Everyone else drove Pintos, Vegas and even Mopars.

I still listen to all this music and much more. Similar to Russ I retain 400+ albums and have over 500 cds in my collection. The wife and kids stuff don't count to me.

Trower -Bridge of sighs-"The fool and me"
James Dewar playing one bad bass.

Ritchie Blackmore's -Rainbow- all good ,with Mr. Ronnie James Dio belting out the lyrics.

Lowell George and Little Feet with anything they did.

    Mountain, SeaLevel, and others...

Early Aerosmith...none of the pap they have been pushing for the last 20 years. My two daughters (11 & 13) loved Aerosmith until I put on "Sick as a dog" from Rocks. He, he , somewhat different from "Love in an elevator" crap when blasting out of the ol' Infinity's.

Had many cool concerts in my "teen" years...

Zeppelin in '76 at the Capitol Centre
Steve Miller on several occasions 77 & 78
Doobie Brothers three times between Philly, DC and Baltimore.
And many more. Some I have clear memories of and some I do not.

Last couple of decades I have been delving into Blues, Chicago, Delta, West Texas and all other flavors.

It's great to find people that share some of the same interests that I do. Namely, Bufords and tunes forgotten by the masses.
