every time I try to post a picture on my avatar, or on a post,, there upside down , I rotated them up side down in my file before I opened them , thought they would transfer to show right side up that way , but when it post them they still transfer upside down ??
What are you taking the pictures with, and uploading them with.. I have seen this phenomenon when pictures are taken and uploaded with a phone, and the phone is held sideways to take the picture.
I take pictures with my Iphone 7 sideways all the time, and never have this problem. Could they be flipping the phone the wrong way? I flip mine so the home button is near my right hand.
Ya, I am not sure of the specifics of it.. I will ask Bucy when I see him on Tuesday, he is the one that pointed it out to me when he saw some upside down pics on the board here.
“Simple Resize” is a good free app that I use on my phone. It fixes all the issues I’ve had with downloading pictures taken with my phone.
thanks,, they were taken on a i phone in the normal position , then put onto my computer and was trying to post from the computer ,
I'm not sure why that would've flipped them. Is normal position vertical with home button on the bottom?
just tried doing from my phone directly on the site , and it transferred upside down ? yes normal position , home button on bottom
i phone 6 plus , played with it yesterday took some new pictures some posted correct and some where upside down some were sideways some times if i just keep rotating them , 4 times ,, right turn ,, back to correct they would transfer correct
My ‘hawk’ pic was taken with an iphone 7 and the then current 11.1.1 maybe op sys, held right side up, when I posted it she was on her side. Patrick
Check that, the Simple Resize app will need to be upgraded by the developer now that I've downloaded ios 11 to my iPhone.
Window OS reads Windows OS. Load the phone pics onto the computer in a file. Right click to "Open with paint". Pic will show up how ever its formatted from yer phone. Go to "Files" and click "Save as" and it'll go right to the file that's pinned then assign it a new file number. When we had to resize our own stuff for here before, Id take pic 12345.jpg and save the same pic as Z1. Use Z1 as your upload and it'll appear as however it was saved as.
