    I have a question,

Why does TA only ship bij USPS, and not by UPS or Fedex?
Also I hear that inquires by email are very slow (weeks?) or are not responded on.
Can you guys and girls make a note of that, we have more and more Buicks rides in Europe and elsewhere outside the US, and they need there parts to:TU:
And sometimes quickly and USPS post can take up anywere between 5 days or more then 2 weeks. Last time it was 3 weeks before I got my parts.

Please let me know if you send by UPS or FEDEX or not.
Cause most partdealers here, use UPS or FEDEX so they no there shipment is insured for overseas travel.
This are only gaskets so thats overkill I know, but for future orders you know why they ask that.
Also the TA parts are not available true other US sources (Summit/Jegs etc etc). My normal partsdealer Dyno tuning Parts, could not get the parts true is US dealership, cause they send they didn't get a reply?)
I still need those intake gaskets (SP2 intake and STG1TE heads, and 0.62 thickness 2 pairs) asap.
I cannot continue the buildup without them.

Tonight I will place the order again.

P.S. I found a Stage1 intake the earlier ones downhere (SP1 intake it is now) someguy was using it on his autocross car.

Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

USPS has a contract with FEDEX for shipping of packages. Ask your Postal Service there if it applies to the Netherlands.

TA shipped usps to me but that is what I wanted. I'm sure they would ship ups if you asked them to. It is probably much more expensive. Where in Holland do you live. I was born in winschoten. 75riv is also in holland. Pete

Ok tnx guys good to here they ship either way.
Then I know one of the supplier here was trying to scam me!:Dou:
He was asking for 2 pair of Stg1TE intake gaskets 112,50 euro! thats 155 dollars, and he told me that it would be send from TA by USPS the cheapest way!
Oh well I gonna order the stuff myself, thats most of the times the best way.

@ Doo Wop: Oma & Opa? do you speak Dutch also?

@69 Wag: I live in The Haque (Den Haag), you was born in Winschoten, any family still in Holland?
I have driven, dined and met with 75Riv, nice bloke! And lots of Buicks he has.

Yes, I still have cousins there. My aunt lives in Emmeloord and some freinds in enscede. I'm not sure where the rest live. I plan on making a trip to holland next year. I'll have to brush up on my dutch. Moved here when I was 5. almost 45 years ago. Haven't been there since 1985.

Gaskets are orderd. TA I believe only uses UPS and FEDEX in the USA not outside the USA

The cost difference is huge. I shipped a cruise control to Sweden this summer- USPS was half-price or less.

Yes I know, but sometimes you need things faster, by USPS it can take up anywhere from 2 weeks or 1 month by airmail to arrive.

I orderd the Gaskets at Gesslers place, cause TA was asking $25 per gasket, so thats $50 for one pair! And the list price is 18 dollars for a pair!

Greg still has the normal prices so I orderd them there. :TU:
