It’s good to see you using your NOS parts and correcting little things on the GS. Way to GO!!!!

It does look awesome, Jason. But, I think they were natural. What is that, powder coat?

Jason, you're going to have the bumper painted the same color as the car???

I know Fred, you could have saved it by buying both. I'm a bit afraid it's cabin fever...

I cant wait to get her back! Its at a friends bosy shop. Guy is meticulous. Been there a week already. One of the things I wanted to get checked was the frame. The car was in a fender bender God knows hoe long ago and I suspected one or both of the frame horns were tweaked. Turns out the frame is pin straight. He told me that the frame is more square than some new cars.

Im getting the sheetmetal lined up. All the gaps are off. Getting the 72 LS inner wheel well swapped out for a correct 70, early 71 style and some select paintwork under the hood

Just stopped by the shop today. One of the things that really bothered me was the fact that someone in the car's past painted the area of the fender where the hood hinge bolts black. Its supposed to be body color. Plus the 72 inner fender issue. Ive been meaning to do it myself and 15 years later, its still not done.

The left fender is off and prepped out for paint. Dropped off the correct fender well. The left side firewall saddle bag was caked with Wyoming dirt!

Beautiful car, I really like the dual chrome mirrors and the original unrestored air cleaner. Thank you for sharing.

Depending on what the final total is, I may have one other, "while its there" job for him. Otherwise I'll tackle it myself when I get her back home.
