When I first got the car in 2004, I bought a 9L4 Stage 1 distributor off the board for $500 which I thought was a lot of money! Sounds cheap now right? :D Its been sitting in a box in my basement until today. Its been shipped off to Ken at Everyday Performance for a rebuild and re-curve. Ken says about 10 days. So as soon as I get it back, I'll throw it in

New TA rockers are in and the engine is a little quieter. Come the fall, Im pulling the engine and trans and delving a little deeper into some more needed repairs- like a valve job. And the trans has always leaked. Its coming apart and getting a rebuild. Once the engine goes back together, its getting a fresh coat of Buick red. Also on the list is a new clutch and PP. Im going to bead blast the bell housing and clean everything up under the hood. Its going to be better than ever some spring

That car was the first big block 4 speed Buick I ever drove and I'll never forget it till the day I die. I'll sell a kidney or nut or something....

I still have the pictures I took when we stopped at the ice cream stand. I've never been so happy and yet terrified at the same time (except maybe when my kid was born....it's a toss up...haha)

Probably the same one I put in the beater. I got it from Falcon in Deer Park, NY. Its just a stock replacement 11" diaphragm. The clutch in the beater is butter smooth

When you get it, could you pm the mfg, part number and details of everything you buy to replace the old one. This is on the list to do for me.

Its not a 1972, look odd when you take your cars out and Taulb's car out

To me sounds like a parts car & needs a FULL restoration. Front & rear window channels repaired properly an engine & trans. overhaul, probably full of bondo hiding improper rust repairs & it goes on & on.
My best offer of $500.00 CASH!!!!! Take it now or the offer is null & void!!!!!

    HA HA HA

Tell you what, Tom is probably right. But I will offer you $600 but as long as you fill up the tank with premium fuel, load it on the trailer and strap it down, and throw in a 12 pack of beer (not the cheap stuff either).

Didn't you say you were going to have Nick throw a paint job on the Aquamist car? Or was that before Barney?:):)
