Yea, mine kinda sticks up in the rear somewhat. I think they used to call that the California rake. My wheel well trim is also trimmed back so it doesn't cut the tire side wall. Oh, do you want me to send you some more of that Kentucky Horse pi** beer (LOL)?

the right spring will do you right my buddy had a monte carlo he swithced to sum moroso trick springs and got a set of lowered springs but im not sure which ones off hand. But it dropped the car about two inches overall. i have also seen guys use the new control arms up front and worked with success. just be careful that you have wheel clearance if you do it. Hey running did you find anything at the expo a couple weekends ago. there having another one next weekend but im not sure if bobb is coming down for it.

Thanks. I think I might try to drop it at the chassis shop. I have moroso springs up front, but the rears are the hd g-body springs from the local spring shop. Who knows what rate they are? As for the show, I think I spent a b load of money and don't know it yet :TU: someone might be getting a rim dealer ticket and if that happens I might have to re-rim the T. Other than that I bought three drag videos and have been using them as soothing music on saturdays!

    did you find anything?

With my new seat hight people are going to scatter when they see the car driving itself down the road :bla: I dropped it back a couple and down a couple. Also took a couple "'s off the rear and it looks much better.........

Just a few more weeks and we should get this thing down the track. I need some tires, finish some wiring, add the bottle, change the master cylinder and drive it...

Can't wait to drive it with real tires.

Did you mini tub it yet? I picked up a 400 with a brake over the winter, and have been selling off all the turbo stuff. Im going to start with the rear and chassis first. I got rid of the 8.5 and am going with a 9" from Moser. Im also going the mini tub route so the car will sit low....

No mini tub -- -- Thought I would try hammering on it first to see what happens on the track. So we are just putting homemade adjustable upper rear controll arms on it.. and welding the whole thing to the "chassis". 9" is way good.... My ride is at the shop right now... Can't wait to piss off the locals again...........

Mike, not trying to be funny but those upper control arms kinda scare me. Do I see the rod end next to the mounting lug on the housing with just a bolt holding it? My TR7 came with the same arrangement and were going to change it over to a clevis type arrangement where as the clevis fits over the housing lug and the bolt goes through both sides and the bolt has support on both sides. Just my two cents worth.

THat is the same set up I have on my car it takes the hit from over a 1000 ftlbs with no issue. I have running it for 5 years and I know there are many set ups in fast stuff just like it. He has nothing to worry about :TU:

Thanks Lar, I thought the same thing at first. But like Buick Bobb said, plenty of folks are making it work, so i guess i will too :TU:

Hey get this ! The porky thing weighed in at 3100 :beers2: It oughta haul :TU:

Mine weighed in at 3105. I saw it run last night during the Saturday night test/tune at Beech Bend with the new owner behind the wheel. It ran a 10.82 but I forget the mph. I only ever made one 1/4 mile pass with it (it was setup for the 1/8 mile) and it went 10.800 and on the rev limiter just before the 1000' line.
