yes we do that to alot of cars :Brow: than tig weld aformed piece to the middle piece so it bolts on/off, :) that and the Snap On grille/bumper removal tool[lol] makes life much easier to remove engine and trans :laugh:thnx bob

Looks really nice Mr. Bob. Love what you did in the trunk. Might have you do the same on my '72 since the trunk need replacing anywho. Did you happen to get a weight on it before you install eng. and trans?
Which MSD did you order? Very easy to wire for n/a engines.
Distrib have a trigger or pickup?
You're set to be on the streets before the leaves start falling. Good job. :TU:

On a 25.5 Spec car do you have to have the bar's under the car like that, Also do you have to Have the down Bar's of you Spine Bar to the Floor, Are you going to finish up your X bar's in the Door's or is it Legal to Leave it like that. Very Nice work.

the down bars from the spine bar are required, they go thru the froor to the rear crossbar, that runs left to right ; :)
all the bars under the floor EXCEPT the ones that i use to tie in suspension are required [but i allways tie in my stock suspended cars like that,
yes when im done with car the two upper x bars will be welded in [before it hits the track]they are made and fitted already, but why climb over them now :TU:
as you will see with new pict im posting today we are hooking up shifter wires,ie, nuetral safty, backup light, and line loc, plus starting to carpet car '
should be doing ignition, this week ,and makin headers soon  any other questions you might have dont hesitate to call shop thnx bob
