My Step Dad just picked this car up last week. Unsure to what the plans are for the car rather to sell or keep. The car is a one owner bought by a GM employee right here in our town local Buick dealership. He bought the car thinking that 1972 was going to be the last year for the skylark line. They traded a 1965 Buick skylark in on the car. The car was stored in a garage and plans where to save it for there grandson . Long story short the Original owner passes away and his wife called the grandson up and told him...." we have saved this car for you all these years it yours come get it" . He replied back it's ugly I don't want it! Anyway she decided to sell it and we where pased the word about the car.
The car is a time capsule and not even any of the orginal weather stripping is cracking or hard. no rust at all!!!! car was never in the elements. All factory everything . Wires, points , plugs, belts , hoses. I have never seen a car in this good of shape and this orginal. It is like walking in a buying the car in 1972.
We have all the paperwork. Window sticker and sales invoice and some othere papers.

This car should go in a museum or a series car collector. We would be willing to do that as we are unsure what plans are for the car. Check out the pictures. This is a unrestored orginal buick!

Wow! that looks EXACTLY like a guy that goes to a local cruise-in in Laurinburg NC's car... I haven't been in about two months due to work rotation (could only make it twice a month at best). I had not seen him there in several months before that...He was Ex military, and a Reired police officer... Original owner also...EXACTLY the same... year, color, top, interior... Hope it wasn't me cruise-in buddy...That would take the Buick contingient down to TWO owners...

Those had to be the six most beautiful words you've ever heard!!---"It's ugly I don't want it".

Cool looking find. Would be great to use to document finishes...especially on the underside if it's as clean under there as it is up top.

    Foolish youth.....gotta love that!!
