    11.4's quarter mile first time out in that barge is impressive.

    Gary Payne can expand on that a bit. The focus on this particular motor was to move a heavy car, to focus more on Torque than a staggering HP number. 627hp was the number if I remember and torque curve was flat as hell from down low

    Mild Hyd. roller with plenty of vacuum, stage1 SE heads, 10.8 compression for pump gas, 627 hp, and 605 lb-ft. 4000 rpm 553 , 4500rpm 590, 5500rpm 590, peak of 605 at 4800rpm, 5200rpm 600. 6000rpm , 550. FLAT.

    I always had the desire to make a 1973 Fleetwood Seventy Five into a ten or eleven second car, and still look like this.
