anyone have a pic of where to mount the under hood light, and where to tread and connect the wire lead? Also, same question for the trunk light for convertible. Pics will help me the most. Thanks
I've never seen an under hood light on a 70-72. I do have a an old magazine article here somewhere from 69 or 70 that shows an under hood light on a 70 GS. I'll see if I can find a trunk light pic.
The factory under hood light I recall was sold as an accessory. It had a wind up cord so you could use it to trouble shoot under the hood.
My question is mainly where the hood light mounts under the hood.... I want it in the correct spot. I read that you connect wire lead to the horn relay. I just need a pic of where the light goes. I figured out trunk light. I'm good with that one. Thanks in advance
I believe it was an assesory on the GS.... just trying to figure out where to mount it. Would be about same on any a-body that had this assesory.
I think you may be confusing what was a factory option versus what was an over the counter accessory such as an under the hood light, a compass, in 70 a passenger mirror, etc. If it is an accessory, it is not GS specific.
