i currently had a 10 bolt in my 1971 buick skylark i swapped in a 12 bolt out of a 1969 chevelle and the yoke on the 12 bolt is to small for the couplers off my u joint on the original driveshaft its stock with the u joint that was on the car for the 10 bolt.. so i need a smaller u joint for it to work or can i swap my yoke out of the 10 bolt and bolt in my 12 bolt???

there is what is called a combo joint available.
call a local driveshaft company.thet will be able to supply you with what you need.
