Tow Vehicles Wow, that was SICK Mike! Exactly what year did that happen? Where was BB Sam when this happened? Cindy was driving? If YOU were driving.....no explanation needed!! On the other end of the spectrum, I pulled my GS to MANY events all over the States for years with a 76 Gran Prix and never had a problem. My GS was full weight and the trailer was 1600# plus all the tools and racing gear. Gran Prix's were never meant to be a tow vehicle like this but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Over the years I did encounter several blowouts but it never caused any type of a handling problem.
Re: Tow Vehicles dont happen to still have the 76 do you keith? would you be looking to part with it in about a year? I'm lookin for one in about a year. Nate
Gran Prix Sorry Nate, its been sold. That was undoubtedly the most reliable car I have ever owned. It was a 350-4 barrel car with Turbo 400. I was the second owner, I bought it with 74,000 miles on it from a retired army Colonel. When I sold it, it had 253,000 miles on it, never burned a drop of oil even when pulling the race car across country. Other than changing lifters at around 150,000 miles the motor was virgin. Its still running around town,
