Yes it is. But on that car the stripes are white & the roof is NOT white but rather paint code 50 Covert Beige. Three different paint colors. Flame orange / Covert Beige / White stripe. On top of that it has a saddle interior. I had a chance to buy this car about a year ago but passed....I just could not learn to love the color scheme. The car is in Saskatoon SK Canada now.
I appreciate your effort in trying, but there's no need to be hurt by the rejection. ---- Dave, you didn't specify that the top was beige! That's interesting! So here's my thinking: perhaps beige was not a recommended pairing with orange, but they work quite well. And did you know that beige stripes ("Light Covert") were available? Regardless, white matches everything, so it may be unusual, but I don't find it odd.
Thanks for the pics....will put some of 'em up (prob not the '61, sorry to say, but wow what a nice car!).
I don't think I have a picture but I owned a 70 Cutlass that was 55 Galleon gold poly top with 63 Copper poly main and a gold interior. I will look for pics.
