First, let me explain my dilemma. Last summer, I won a prize giveaway (yeah, I know, big dilemma) consisting of any Helix products I wanted from a large online dealer. The prize itself is 50% off any Helix products I wanted to purchase. This could potentially be a great deal for me since I don't usually see 50% off sales for new car parts! One of the things to be considered are Helix tubular upper and lower control arms that are supposed to fit my '67 GS. I've been wondering what the real benefits are for swapping from the original to tubular control arms on my street-driven car?? I have been debating this issue since I'm not one to just blow some cash for the fun of it and I have nothing other than my modern cars to compare handling benefits. My original upper and lower control arms are original. I think I can assume that over time they have a little bend to them. Heck, one could break tomorrow! LOL! I am just in the dark on the cost to benefit ratio. Has anyone put these things on their A body car and found them to be really great or am I just wasting my money? Would there be a significant improvement in handling? One thing I considered was buying them, seeing if I like them and if not, sell them so kind of a win/win.

Here are a couple of links to the parts. The online dealer assured me these would fit my car.

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

I personally never heard of this company
but tublercontrol arms to me are worth it on any vehicle purpose

this would be a perfect time to upgrade to either taller balljoints or new spindles/steeringarms
