I need a little info here on my 62 Buick Skylark convertible before I break a non-replaceable trunk light, how is this suppose to come off the bottom of the trunk lid? I have tried turning it but it seems very tight, next is to pry but don't want to break it. Thanks

Pop the metal cover off and their should be 2 screws holding it in place. The metal covers have a couple dimples stamped in them to hold them in place.

Thanks Keith, came off real good but found that the mercury tilt switch is pooched. May have to incorporate a trunk switch. Any ideas??

Every once in a while I see an NOS one come up for sale. Buick Farms may have one. They can be kinda hard to find, but there is a few out there yet.

The trunk light was an option, so not to many vehicles had one. Maybe you will get lucky!

I talked to another member last night that had 4-5 of these last fall. I asked him if he had any left. He said he would look and get back to me.

If he says he has one I will have him hold it for you, and give you his contact info or vice versa.
