I am looking to pick up the stainless strip that goes along the bottom of the trunk lid. Is that available after market or do I need to find one used. If used is the answer. What would be a fair price? Does anybody have one they are willing to part with? I have the little strips on both quarter corners and would like to finnish. Nice condition would be great. Perfect isn't necessary. Also, the hard plastic peice behind the armrest on my car is in terrible shape. Any suggestions? Can these be covered, fixed or what. Anybody got one that's better than poor? I plan to redo the seats sometime soon. My interior is '71 Pearl white. Thanks in advance for your help.

The trunk strip is stainless and can be easily repaired and straightened by a person in that business. The quarter strips are pot metal and must be rechromed. The back plates are avaiable after market for 12 inch from like Postons and if 16 inch Jim Weise is doing those from used cores.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I wasn't real clear. I don't have the stainless piece for the trunk lid and would like to get one. The plastic armrest peice I am trying to get or fix is behind the armrest on my split bench seat, not on the door. Please help.
    Thanks,

Marty, I think I have one on a deck lid in the basement.
I'm on the road with work, but will be home this weekend, and can check then.
    I'll let you know.
