72 GS - The transmission crossmember will mount two ways - 1) where the crossmember at the front makes it difficult to remove the rear tranny cover bolts OR 2) where the crossmember at the front makes it easy to remove the rear tranny cover bolts.
I have it mounted currently with option "1" which places the hook for the passenger emergency brake cable in the hole in the member close to the passenger side of the car. If I turn the member around then I would have to drill a hole for the emerg brake cable but would be easier to remove the tranny rear bolts.
Looking in the Chassis Manual (the image is not that good), option "1" looks correct.
Am I correct or wrong with option "1"?

Option 1, where the emergency brake cable hook is on the passenger side, and the adjuster is on the driver's side, providing a symmetrical layout to the cable, and that puts it where it needs to be when it crosses under the tailshaft of the transmission and the mount is supported as intended.

(the crossmember is installed from behind the tailshaft and moved forward)
