I'm checking into it. Someone seems to think they will only be prepping one lane. I have to find out for sure. They might have to get so many cars before they prep both lanes. I'll find out and let everyone know. If we get both lanes I don't see a problem with running drag radials out of one of the lanes.
drags Mike C I do not have ET streets with the four lines but MT drag radials with the two lines and the scallop side cuts. But I will come and if they are okay so be it. I only live 110 miles away. NHRA rule say cars faster than 11.49 need roll bars and since I don't have one I will keep it on the pump gas and alky. If they don't prep the track however I will blow the tires away off the line and through first if I launch under boost. Mikey
Is this the tire you have below? I'm going to show it to Rod tonight and see what he thinks. I'm still waiting to hear if we have both lanes or not.
Another hard line question here is: What is the cost looking to be? If you do not know the for sure price per car yet, at least give an idea of the track cost and the number of cars that looks to be there. I would like to get an approximate price at the least. Additionally, I would like to say that I would like to be there to run my car at a track with some other Buicks, but I can't see myself paying an incredible price. Also, we need to know if we are able to run our drag radials. Is it possible to get an answer soon. I would like to nail down plans and hotel reservations for here of make my way to SC to run. Either or, but prefer to see some fast Buicks... Thanks all.......... Mike
Ok, I ran it by the main guys that rented the track and they said no. They wouldn't mind but we only get one lane to run it. Sorry, I tried. I'll keep you posted if things change. If we get enough cars we might be able to run both lanes.

Ok, I got the update. The date has been changed to December 18th & 19th. Monday/Tuesday. Not the days we would have liked. We are not the ones renting the track we were just invited to go along, so we don't have much say over the date. Let me know if anyone would still be up for going.
