I had a 92 mustang lx 7up car. Emerald green paint with white convertible top and white leather interior. Car was filthy when I bought it. Top was only a year or so old but absolutely filthy. I used the bleach-white spray for raised white letter tires and a scrub brush. Cleaned up good as new!

Problem using ANY high strength cleaner is that it attacks the THREADS used to attach components. Found out the hard way on my original interior 71 Skylark Custom convertible...

Yes, strong cleaners are corrosive to the material you put them on, that's how they work. If you use Bleach White or Purple Power don't let it dwell too long and rinse thoroughly. I would start with purple power. I'm not sure how vinyl dye would work. You may call your local auto body supply house to see what they have.

Best thing to do is have Paint store (auto) mix you 1 pint of SEM . A and buy one of those aresol bottle cans that you put paint in! they work great!

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

Back when I was flipping cars, we mixed single stage Centari enamel with flex agent and flattening agent. Dyed a lot of vinyl tops. Never tried a convertible top though.
