I know you Buick guys like your rocker moldings, but I don’t like any. I had all of the holes welded shut on my 70 GS.
I should have plugged the peak reveal moldings and trunk edge holes as well, but didn’t. I like things real plain on the outside. Chrome bumpers and doors handles is about all I do.
I even have the factory clip-on steel gap covers that came on cars that did not get roof rail stainless. They clip on to cover the gap between the A-pillar rail, and the roof rail, and are body color. I should have put those on this 70 as well. I went around a lot of junkyards plucking those off.

Brian not many people realize how important it was 20-30 yrs ago to hit the salvage yards. Everyone was doing it at my work. But I didn’t. Can’t go back. To late

So that would make, at least, two of us.

I had a very large yard less then 5 miles from me that I went to ever since I was a kid. By the mid-90’s,I was known to everyone there, and they would even let me drive my truck back in the yard. I also got better deals because I removed everything myself. I took all of my parts car carcasses there,so they could get the scrap. They finally closed about 5 years ago. That was the last good one left. I did find a real cool one down your way,in the Butler area. It was like a time capsule.

DR. Spencer Sorry you threw my off there. Yes it is white. Code 11 3967. When I mixed the color I was lucky. ICI who is now NEXA. Owned by PPG. The had a Special mix . And when they do so . They put dates on the formula. So when you go to the computer in any shop it comes up as a special . Meaning they match the original Laquer paint from the factory. Witch some paint company’s do. The only reason
Why I’m explaining this is . My Wife has a Monte Carlo Super Sport White 1985 .
Code 11 WA 3967. With 800 miles on it . Does not get driven . Sits in Garage. Point I’m trying to make. The 1985 color on the Monte is way to yellow and Redder. If I had put that variant shade of white on my Buick and realized it would not match next to a 72 survivor. I would rip my eyes out. They are different. White is not white
