I am FINALLY ready for assembly on the short block . It has taken a lot longer than I thought it would.
None of this would be possible without the help of my very good friend Allen Mandeen. He has helped me the whole way and kept me motivated through some setbacks. Specs are
    4.500 bore
    4.400 stroke
    6.800 Oliver rods
    JE pistons (14 to 1 )
    Total seal gapless top rings
    TA performance solid roller cam (280-288 .725 .715 )
TA stage 4 heads and rockers 380 CFM on the intake
Indy Cylinder Heads 440 intake manifold.
    Pro Systems alcohol Dominator

We have been bracket racing the car the last 6 or 7 years with my son Trevor driving, but I think it's time for a little heads -up racing locally. A 400 shot is in the works and should help get a 4 second (1/8 ) or 7 sec pass.

A couple pics from today. Out with the old !

If you are going to spray a true 400 shot (1600 pph) I would look into making sure you have the right pistons and cam for that and I would not run that amount of nitrous on alcohol.

Bring it up here to I29 dragway just outside council bluffs Ia. 1/8 mile. they had 3 no prep heads up races last year, very popular and some good racing. good payouts too! check out their website

    Eric,

I have never seen your car up close but it is still one of my favorites! With a 400 shot that car should simply fly! Keep us updated!

Did you have any issues with the crank fitting in the block? I ask because my Moldex had to be clearanced at the center counter weights and the Crower crank had to have a few main journals widens.

Keep us posted on the progress!
