Timing question

    I don't know if this is what you are hearing, but it isn't unusual to hear the exhaust note "puff " a bit here and there if you listen at the exhaust pipe opening.

    Does adjusting the mixture help?

    I'm sure it will. The lean drop method described in the chassis manual produces that slightly lean idle mix gives a little puff every so often if you're anal enough to sit there and listen to the exhaust note.:D
