Initial timing, idle speed, 2-1/2 degrees BTDC, one line above the zero mark on trhe dampener. Vacuum advance disconnected.

    Mechanical advance,

    2 crankshaft degrees @ 800 rpms
    30 crankshaft degrees @ 3,900 rpms

    Total @ 3,900 rpms, 32-1/2 degrees
(2-1/2 initial + 30 mechanical advance degrees) Total read with vacuum advance disconnected and vacuum feed hose blocked off

    Vacuum advance,

Inches of manifold vacuum to start vacuum advance moving, 6 to 8
Total crankshaft degrees of vacuum advance: 16 @ 16 inches/hg vacuum
