Time for new steering box?

    Looking at that readout i would predict the car would feel twitchy/tramline with a bit of a pull to the right. Finding alignment guy's that understand suspension settings is a rarity everywhere nowadays it seems, they might know there machine but not what it's all about.
    When I had my 65 done the boss was looking for a near enough car to set it to (i believe that is what you got) but when the technician came back from lunch he came up to me with a notebook to discuss what i wanted. I asked for 1 - 1.5 degrees NEGATIVE camber, as much POSITIVE caster as he could get and about 3mm toe IN. I had to go through my stash at home for more shims to get it done. Remember that most of these old cars were on bias ply tyres when new - bit different with radials.
    Finding a guy who knows about shimming the top arms to adjust camber/caster is half the battle, most shops adjust the toe rough enough and that's it cos it's all they know
