Three mods-three clearance problems

    I thought while I was replacing the rear end in the Regal I'd do some upgrades while the thing was already apart.

    1) Lower control arm relocation brackets. They hit my tires :Brow:

    2) Control arm braces, that tie the upper to the lower on the chassis. They hit my exhaust :ball:

    3) Driveshaft safety loop, the type that bolts to factory holes. Not designed for long tail 400, more like a tailshaft safety loop :rant:

    I can mod the loop pretty easy but won't be as strong.
    I can mod the brackets but will lose the lowest setting maybe two.
    I could use the braces to fab a jig then engineer and build my own, I'm guessing about a ten to twelve hour job.

    This is what we call "Hot-Rodding" . . . :laugh:

    Been there; done that. Never on a Regal though.
