Thread Sealant/Teflon Tape for Booster Intake Fitting?

    Does it need a sealant of some kind? I spray brake cleaner at the fitting with the engine running, engine idles down, so I'd assume so. I still get 17" of vacuum at idle.

    I use a SMALL dab of RTV, Teflon tape works too.
    Make sure your hose doesn't have a crack tho,

    Mine also leaked on the manifold. I carefully tightened the brass fitting one turn. Ni sealant required.
    u could also use some ultra black sealant.
