From Taiwan. Personally, I'd rather find a good core and have it rechromed. But it's good to know repops are now available.
If TPP wants to send me a set for free, I will be happy to install them on my car for long term testing
The Taiwan repop bumper that came on a parts truck that I bought had more rust on the back side than my stock factory bumper.
I've put a few "Jing Chang" bumpers on cars when they were missing or bent. They look fine from the outside, but the chrome has been thin around the carriage bolts on a couple and the cut lines are usually squared off and crude looking. To an average Schmo (see what I did there, Joe?) they'd look fine, but I wouldn't put one on something I was trying to make look really nice.
fwiw, most repo parts b/o/p are made in Taiwan. the suppliers they use are good. what p/p does I have no idea.
Then why is it every other day members here and other boards Showing pics of re pop crap that don't fit. That includes the crap I bought also..
I would love to find a glass front 71/72 bumper, I have front and rear 70s.......and I know vfn makes rear 71/72.....but if I could get a front one
there was a place in columbus that used to make them, they are out now, but so some one had to get the molds
