This is for anybody who has ever raced their car at Interstate Dragways in Sabin Mn. (About 6 mi from Fargo ND)

Last fall, our 1/4 mile dragstrip was bulldozed and completely repaved. The track had been getting worse and it never really was all that good, but it sure looks beautiful now. There are pictures of the construction on the Interstate Dragways home page if you are interested.

There is now concrete to 330 ft, the track has been leveled, there is another 100 ft of shutdown, the track is 4 ft wider, and the staging lanes will now hold up to 300 cars. It's my understanding that we will be hosting a NHRA invitation divisional this summer a week or two before the Nationals at Brainerd. This event would pay points to divisional racers except for top alcohol dragster and funny car. The pictures that they have posted don't do the track justice, it is really really nice!

I just thouht that I'd post this for anyone in the Minnesota, North Dakota, Canada, South Dakota, etc, that would like to come race. The track is NICE!

  2. I'll have to make a few more trips over there this year. I have to agree with you, it wasn't much to look at last summer. Hopefully they've done something for the spectators too. Here's a link to the site: http://www.interstatedragways.com

By the way Mark, I emailed to your new address this morning. We'll work it all out.
