The video features a lot of footage of the car that did more harm to GM's reputation than just about any other - the Vega!

The 153 ci Four and or Iron Duke should have gone in the Vega.

Great video! They saw what was coming but "little did they know" is right. Its a good thing the Japs didn't focus on making 1/2 and 3/4 ton full size trucks at the same time!

Oh ya? How about the Citation. Who was the frigging Moron that came up with that name? Why not just call it the incarceration?

The Vega also harmed the reputation of a girl who dated my best friend in High School. :D

Look at some of the model names for the Edsel , Citation/Pacer/Corsair/ Roundup Which was worse the car or the models names.............

    Lincoln just revived the Corsair.

And the Ranger was the cheapest trim level on the Edsel, not Roundup. The Edsel was not a bad car, however.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

I have to admit, I have owned many cars over the years and very few were from overseas. I do, now, own a 2011 Toyota 4Runner (95,000 smiles) and I have to say that it's built like a tank (body on frame) and drives great. I have it for sale because that's what I do. I really will hate to see it go. I bought a Honda Odyssey from my wife's Bro.

    In a Vega? Where there's a will there's a way.

If the Vega is a hatchback, and you fold the rear seats down..........................or so I heard.

Oh yeah baby!! Spread alot of 'oats' in my Vegas!
A small block fixed the Vegas cylinder problem quite well!

My 2004 GTO was a great car, I should have kept it! I wish you guys were still building cars, too.
