Guy lives in jersey, so its staying in the area for now. It was listed on craigslist. He was the first person to actually come look at it.
What I thought would be the easiest car to sell, the black 71, is turning out the be the most difficult. I guess its easier for someone to come up with 12,500 than 30k?
U just have to get them to look at in person then start it up! SOLD, remember that time u left that Friday night 110 cruise 10 guys looked at u like u were a naked girl and said must be a BBC I told them its a Buick motor they all looked like they saw a ghost
It was a fun ride on multiple levels. Talking that car from what it was and making it into what it became was one of the most fun projects I ever took on. And all of it was documented in threads on this board. Tht car was sitting for at least a decade and was on its way to getting parted out. I gave it a new lease on life, it got into a magazine and went down a dragstrip likely for the first time in its life. What makes me happy is that the car will live on. The guy who bought it I think will be a good caretaker. You know what the best part is? Besides taking these cars that have been sitting and getting them back in circulation? Its selling them and converting the person into a new Buick GS guy. Maybe this guy will join the group here and we can welcome a new member and get the beater back into the fold I will miss the beater very much...she was a good car But on to the next! Raise your glasses boys and give the beater a toast!!! May we see her at the next event!!
